Our RCR strategy: Centre
Collectively, our UK Management Team has a vast range of experience in dealing with compound management, technical intervention and de-fleet preparation and are keen to develop centres in the UK capable of delivering the highest level of service using highly skilled personnel and state of the art technology. Being able to draw on the experiences of the wider ARS Altmann Team, we believe are well set to utilise not only our own knowledge but also that of people who are responsible for European centres dealing with OEMs at their factories, their storage compounds and their technical facilities.
Operating 19 centres across mainland Europe has given ARS Altmann Group the ability to ensure that best practice is guaranteed with a constant exchange of working practices and IT system enhancements. Targeted acquisitions have provided additional product offerings as well as increasing our knowledge base enabling us to maintain our class leading Position. In the UK, we are actively seeking opportunities to invest in new or existing compounds and technical centres or partner with OEMs or other providers to be able to offer innovative solutions to all customer requirements. Whether it is vehicle storage, pre-delivery inspection, fleet vehicle preparation or de-fleet, we want to ensure that our centres offer the best performance against agreed key performance indicators as well as safeguarding the wellbeing of our colleagues and protecting the integrity of the vehicles in our possession.
As we have committed to protecting the future of our environment, we have already invested in solar panels which cover some of our vehicle compounds. LED lighting and other energy saving initiatives are being undertaken throughout our centres. Electric transporter lorries are being trialled to move vehicles over short distances either between compounds or to local dealers and efficiency plans and IT enhancements will ensure minimal vehicular movements.
